We customize our approach to suit the specific challenges of your team. This is not an off-the-shelf service. Significant time investments are made by Higher Ground to understand and appreciate the factors of the organizational culture/environment, industry, unique challenges and unspoken frustrations preventing or delaying high performance.
Assessment and Individual Debriefing Sessions
This initial phase gives each participant an opportunity for personal development – which also builds trust with facilitators for this process and sets proper expectations for the workshops. Each person receives personal FeedForward coaching for individual and team perspectives. This phase is not only essential for the participant, but also for Higher Ground to analyze and identify the needs of the team in order to develop customized workshop content.
The objective of most workshops is for participants to understand the different working and communication styles on the team and to address their specific team challenges. Because our workshops and retreats are customized to address your challenges and opportunities, your outcomes are emphasized and direct outcomes are a part of the end result. Depending on your desired outcomes, the size of your group and other factors, we can design workshops and retreats from a half-day up to several full-day sessions.
Follow Up with Manager and Team
The final phase of this process is a follow-up with the manager or team leader as well as with the team. The manager can expect a one-time coaching session to review the workshop/retreat and review the results and action items. Follow up with the team takes place within two months post workshop. This phase is invaluable for everyone as it reinforces the process and holds everyone directly accountable.
