Retained Search Defined:
First, Higher Ground works exclusively for our client organizations during the search. We do not simultaneously present candidates to competitors or other organizations for the same role.
Second, our process is highly proactive. Instead of relying primarily on applicants, Higher Ground identifies and directly approaches qualified leaders who may not be actively seeking a new role. This is often called candidate sourcing or market mapping.
Third, Higher Ground provides structured evaluation and advisory support. This typically includes stakeholder interviews, development of a leadership profile, candidate vetting, structured interviews, reference checks, and guidance throughout the hiring decision.
